· Meeting called to order at 6:30pm by LaVerne Baker

President: LaVerne Baker
Woodland did well in all divisions at the Starz of Cordova Tournament. Closing Ceremonies went very well.
Vice President: April Gordon
All Star shirts for the parents will be in next week. We already have 2 sponsors for Fall ball: Qualitees and Sonic. Will be sending Thank You’s to the spring sponsors with a WGFSA pin included. Sonic donated all of the condiments for closing ceremonies.
Secretary: Lorene Leathers
Sending a sheet around the room for everyone to put their current email/phone number on. An updated list of board members will be put together.

Has all of the books and pitching records from spring. She will be compiling the information.

Snack-Bar: Nancy Cooper
Had a successful season. We should re-visit the idea of having 2 people in charge of the snack bar. Too much work for just one.
Equipment/Facilities/Safety Officer: Dennis Stanley
Pitching machine at Klenhard was broken. Randy took the machine to John Sleuter who fixed it. Randy paid John, bill submitted to Gina for reimbursement. We should have think about having a training on the pitching machine at each field during the Managers/Coaches meeting next year.
Discussion held regarding how good of a job Dennis did this season. The league may have to prep Klenhard next season.
Publicity: Lisa Bruni
Chamber of Commerce has invited us to their next meeting. They will present us with a plaque. Having a hard time with the Daily Democrat. They haven’t published anything that has been submitted.
Woodland Community-a website for things going on in Woodland. Discussion held regarding different ways to advertise, besides the Democrat.

Will be updating the website. Send all Star pictures for website.
Norcal/Winterball Rep: Randy McAlary
June 29th at 7pm All Star Manager/Coach/Scorekeepers Meeting. Elk Grove is hosting the All Star Tournament. Most of the tournament will be held in Elk Grove, but the finals will be held in Rocklin on Monday, July 13, 2009.
Fall Ball Meeting for Managers is July 20, 2009; 7pm at Rancho Cordova City Hall. The fee is $675/team, except 8U=$525/team. There will be a rules meeting on August 12th.
Norcal spoke about 2 different dates
ACTION: Randy will check on the correct date.

Registration for fall ball is slow. We currently have about 10 players signed up.
· Old Business:
Fireworks booth-several spots on the schedule still open. We will use of snack bar cash register in the fireworks booth- All fireworks will have a code; code can be put into register to ring up the cost.
Discussion held about the specific details of booth decorations and increasing the sales.
Picture Books- 5 teams (3-8U’s) didn’t get picture books.
ACTION: LaVerne will call Raymond from USP to get photo books for 8U teams 1, 3 & 6.
· New Business:
April received an email from Laughs Unlimited regarding a fundraiser night.
100 tickets at $8.00 each our cost, could sell for $15-20 each. 1 hour before the show could have a raffle or 50/50. No drink minimum.
ACTION: April will get further information from Laughs Unlimited
The next Arena Softball night will be on June 27th from 5-10pm
At the next meeting, we will be nominating and voting for available board positions.
