Guest Speaker – Terry from Spectrum Photo’s gave us information about taking our pictures at opening ceremonies. He will leave his contact information with LaVerne.
· Officer’s Report:
President: LaVerne Baker- Tournament went well, thank you to Dennis for moving banners to Rec, thanks to Scott, Dennis and Richard Carbajal for helping prep fields.
Vice President: April Gordon- Thanks to all those who helped with Tournament. Tentative amount raised, close to $3,000. A lot of positive feedback, learned what to and not to do for next year. Hoping for more teams to participate next year. Better review of rules and no “home” umpires. Extra porta-potties and PA System.
Working on sponsor letter for spring
Arena softball is set for Saturday, December 19th
– Don Cline & Josh Bailey from AAA Cal Umpire Association. They are branching out to softball. Bob Melvin referred them to us and we used them for the Turkey Trot Tourney. They gave us a quote and we asked them to revise some of their contract. Paula and Mike were going to go over it and add wording we want. We will vote on using them for spring.

LaVerne called Elks – no dates left in March 2010. She will call again for other available dates and also check other places.
Snack Bar: Paula Noble- Profit from fall $397 (nacho machine was also purchased) Profit from Tournament $780.00
Winterball/Norcal: Randy McAlary-left before end of meeting
Webmaster: Chris Dark-Update tournament information, needs registration info from Floyd, needs photo and calendar, parade, arena, registration dates – no on-line registration
Equipment/Facilities: Dennis Stanley- Needs to get equipment from Winterball Managers. Requested use of LMS for tryouts. Rec field needs work – will research price for new 3rd base.
Publicity-Lisa Bruni: Will submit application to Chamber of Commerce for Xmas Parade. Got trailer & warehouse space (1215 Commerce). Start decorating on the 9th. Will ask Lorene to put out mass e-mail for committee. Will get registration to WJUSD. Will print parade flyers on copier and get candy canes. Will put online, Daily Democrat, Aroundtown and will check the Wave.
Registrar: Floyd Kemper-Have mall space by Claire’s for registration. Two copies of each registration will be make, one for Registrar and one copy for Manager. Raffle – Paula is filing paperwork with State Attorney’s office.
Umpire-in-chief: Mike Rossiter: Will go over AAA contract with Paula, to add specific verbiage. Winter umps have been paid (except one game for Kourtney Dotts).

Paula to check with Deryk Linear to update WGFSA logo – Elizabeth will be out from 12/18 to 01/01 and 02/25 to 03/02-Dennis found medallions w/2005 lanyards, can use for next year
