>Volunteers
Volunteers are a vital part that keep this league running smoothly, and help so your girls can have a truly good time. Please see the list below as to how you may help out.
| Umpires |
Umpires are our only payed position in the league. They can be 14 years of age and up. They can also receive community service hours if desired. The league pays $30 per game for the upper divisions and $25 per game for 8U. If interested, please contact our Umpire in Chief Mike Rossiter, email: UIC@wgfsa.org or call 662-1648.
| Board Members |
Board members are volunteering 110% of their time to keep the league running. As a collective group, they help guide the direction of the league. There are many positions and you can become a board member via vote during closing ceremonies. Contact Secretary@wgfsa.org if interested. See Board of Directiors for who they are and description of the positions.
| Scorekeepers |
Scorekeepers are vital. Every team, when they play as home team, needs to keep track of the score. They help the umpire keep track of the count and the number of runs. The scorekeepers are a valued necessity that everyone appreciates. We typically hold a scorekeepers clinic near the beginning of each spring season, check the calendar to see if there is one available. Please contact your manager if interested, they'll appreciate it as well.

| Snackbar |
The Snackbar is run by only one or two board members and they can't run it all alone without your help. Its always nice to have those snacks during the games and refreshments for the girls after their games. This is our only source of revenue during the season and the funds help purchase equipment and facilities, which in turn lower your rates. If each parent would donate just 1/2 hour a few times in the season, it would make a difference in the world. Please let your manager know, or if you'd like to help in any other way contact Paula Noble at 383-4477 or email Snackbar@wgfsa.org
| Team Parents |
Team parents are the glue between the manager and the parents. They help the manager coordinate what may be needed such as snacks, organizing contact sheets, events, fundraising forms and helpful communication. Contact your managor to see how they need help. The less time with paperwork the manager has, the more time they can spend helping your children.
| Fireworks Booth |
The fireworks booth is our biggest source of revenue for the league. 100% of the proceeds go back into the league so the rates can be cheaper for all of us. Its the parents time that helps make this successful. If you can donate just an hour or two of your time for an excellent purpose we'd greatly appreciate it. We'll take sign-ups at any time, just email Fundraiser@wgfsa.org

| Christmas Parade |
The Christmas parade float is a fun event in which everyone can participate via walking/riding in the parade, help put the float together and coming up with fantastic ideas. Every skill level is needed and everyone can help with construction of the float and crafts. Contact Publicity@wgfsa.org near beginning of November to see how you can help.
| Rec Cleanup |
This is an annual event before the start of Spring and Fall Season. Please come out and help clean up the fields for weeds, trash and maintenance so it can make the games so much better for the rest of the season. Check the calendar in the Months of March and August to see when you can help.
| Fundraisers |
Nobody likes them, but they are necessary to keep our league functioning and to keep the rates low for everyone. It really isn't that much effort and people usually get good stuff from their purchases, and top sellers can win great stuff. Ask friends, relatives or work to see if they'd like any items and please do NOT go door to door. If you have any questions or need help understanding any forms, please contact Fundraiser@wgfsa.org
